Dr. Dawn Li has about 20 years of corporate and university experience in
project/contract management, knowledge and data management,
data and systems analysis, web architecture and usability, e-learning design and implementation, database development,
and proposal/technical writing.
Dr. Li has diverse background and extensive experience in handling IT projects and working with people. She served as a founding member for an e-learning company which was later acquired by Sylvan Learning, managed several projects in medical fraud detection application development, consulted on instructional design for multimedia projects funded by National Endowment for the Humanities and Ford Foundation, and lectured on cutting-edge IT topics from e-learning to e-commerce in both US and Asia. Before co-founding Data and Analytic Solutions, Inc. she worked at Northrop Grumman, US Patent and Trademark Office and Software Publishers Association among others. Besides managing DAS and consulting, she has taught e-commerce and web design and programming at several universities.
Dr. Li is a member of Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA NOVA Chapter), American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), Asian American CEO Forum (AACF), Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA). She has won several awards and is honored as a Woman of Excellence in 2007 by National Association of Professional and Executive Women.
She holds M.S. in Management Information Systems and Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies from The George Washington University.
